There will be NO speech practice or student hangout in the Expos and Interp in a Box storage room.
Here's why:
Expos and Interp in a Box Storage will be in a large room with multiple entrances. The room will be used for several different events during the tournament, including as a competition round for some rounds and as the Extemp Prep room. The area set aside for storage will have a dedicated entrance and be separated from the rest of the room by chairs, but will not be otherwise separated from the rest of the room. There will not be competition in this room during Expos/Interp in a Box rounds, but there will be Extemp Prep going on during some of those rounds. Consequently, the storage area cannot be used as an area to practice a speech or congregate, and students will need to quickly and quietly deposit and retrieve items from this room.
