Host Housing
We are hoping to be able to provide host housing to those in need of it. However, availability will be limited. If you desire to be considered for host housing, please send a request by December 18, 2023. As a reminder, host housing is for you and your children only.
What you can expect from your host home:
~ A place to sleep (maybe a bed, sofa, or room on the floor for your sleeping bags)
~ A bathroom to shower and get ready for tournament
~ Possibly a small amount of refrigerator and/or freezer space
What your host can expect from you:
~ A thankful heart and Christ-like attitude
~ Carefully supervised children at ALL times regardless of age
~ NO smoking in or near host homes
To Request Host Housing:
Send an email to [email protected] with "Host Housing Request by (your family's last name)" in the subject line.
Copy and paste the following questions in your email and answer completely before sending:
1. How many people total need housing?
2. Do you need housing for a married couple?
3. Name and gender of each adult
4. Email and phone number of primary adult
5. Name, age and gender of each student/child
6. Estimated arrival and departure day/time
7. Any special needs or limitations the host family may need to be aware of? (ex: wheelchair access)
8. Any allergies?
9. Name of speech & debate club
We will attempt to match you with a host as soon as possible. If housing fills up, we will also let you know. We recommend that you have a back-up plan in place.
